Night Skies is the supposed true story of an alien encounter during the famous Phoenix Lights UFO phenomenon in 1996. Toss in a pretty much useless side-story with a bunch of young lovelies and you have the makings of a pretty weak movie.
When they sneak into it at night it takes them to a room where they have a view of a fantastic night sky, seemingly of a planet far away. It is all mysterious, how did it get there, what is it really for, and many other questions.
