Kenta Fukasaku (深作 健太, Fukasaku Kenta, born September 15, 1972 in Tokyo) is a Japanese filmmaker and screenwriter. He is the son of film director Kinji Fukasaku and actress Sanae Nakahara.

Battle Royale (Japanese: バトル・ロワイアル, Hepburn: Batoru Rowaiaru) is a 2000 Japanese action film [4] directed by Kinji Fukasaku from a screenplay by Kenta Fukasaku, based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Koushun Takami.
Graduated from the Faculty of Literature at Seijo University. After working for a cleaning company, he became an assistant director at Toei TV Productions. He made his debut as producer and screenwriter with 00's "Battle Royale." © Directors Guild of Japan.
