Just Coolin' is the fourth album by the R&B group LeVert, released in 1988. [6] Production. The group wrote and produced the entire album, the first time they had done so. [7] Critical reception. The Rolling Stone Album Guide wrote that "the beats are bigger, the funk is deeper, and LeVert seems in the process of reinventing its whole sound." [5] .

"Just Coolin'" is a 1988 song collaboration between LeVert and Heavy D, written by Gerald Levert and Marc Gordon. The single peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart, and was Heavy D's only number-one hit, and Levert's fourth number one on the chart. [1] "Just Coolin'" also peaked at number nineteen on the dance chart. [2]
