I can’t think of a reason why you should, I personally went full Zig, I don’t know enough about Jai’s current state to compare it’s development progress with Zig, but I seriously doubt it’s on par with Zig’s platform support, features and the general stability.

I hear optimising compilers for C are famously small because the language has a close mapping to machine code. Obligatory Bakerposting too, cause I can't wait to hear about the first CVE for some software written in Jai.

When you end each WhatsApp message and internal memo with Jai Hind, you will no longer have people respect it. There are other phrases to bastardise. You need not destroy the meaning of this expression of patriotism.
