- As of 2019, Ohr Somayach has ceased operating as a yeshiva. However, under the leadership of Ohr Somayach alumnus Rabbi Yosef Simon, and under the guidance of some of the former leadership of Ohr Somayach, a new organization called Toras Dovid now operates a yeshiva for ba'alei tshuva, as well as a kollel for ba'alei tshuva.

Ohr Somayach (also Or Samayach or Ohr Somayach International) is a yeshiva based in Jerusalem founded in 1970 catering mostly to young Jewish men, usually of college age, who are already interested in learning about Judaism.
Ohr Somayach is really great for the learning skills, and they recently renovated. Good is better (though still bad, but now it's better than Mayanot), dorms are better (unless you're in Main Beis dorms), and the rebbeim are not as forceful.
