Danny Ray Brouillette[2] (/ bruːˈjɛt / born August 18, 1962) is an American government official, lobbyist and businessman who served as the United States Secretary of Energy in the Donald Trump administration from 2019 to 2021. [3] . He previously served as the deputy secretary of energy from August 2017 to December 2019.
Dan Brouillette has three decades of experience in both the public and private sector, including serving as the 15th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy. He also worked for Ford Motor Company, USAA, and the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board.
