  2. The Centre for Talented Youth Ireland ( CTYI) is a programme for students of high academic ability between the ages of six and seventeen in Ireland. [1] There are sibling projects around the world, most notably the CTY programme at Johns Hopkins University, the original model for CTY Ireland.

  3. The CTYI Summer Programme is for young people aged between 12 and 16 years, who have been identified as having high academic ability (95th percentile in mathematical and/or verbal reasoning). The programme offers enrichment courses, which take the form of 3-week academic programmes.

  4. Students who wish to take part in CTYI or CAT younger student programmes should take part in the assessment for 6-12-year-olds. Primary school students can submit an Educational Psychologist's Report in lieu of doing an Assessment. Assessments for 2024 - 2025 will be available from September.
