probably is compiling shaders, the shadercache folder should be around 7gb, is located in C:\ProgramData\Activision\Call Of Duty Black Ops Cold War\shadercache. try deleting the cache and let the game rebuild it again, other than that i have no idea. Jul 17, 2021 · DirectX 12 is a dumpster fire in most games and this one is no exception. To switch to DX11 open Battle.net launcher. In the GAMES section, click Call of Duty: BOCW. In the Black Ops Cold War section, check the box next to Additional command line arguments. Then type -d3d11 to force the game to run in DirectX 11 mode.
