Anthony Stephen Fauci (/ ˈ f aʊ tʃ i /; born December 24, 1940) is an American immunologist. He worked for the National Institutes of Health of the United States. He was the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
