Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee .

He is a founder member & Ex-Generall Secretary in ‘West Bengal Motion Pictures Artiste Forum’. Apart from an actor, he is also the Managing Director in his own company ‘Ideas Creations And Productions Pvt Ltd’. He is the UNICEF’s advocate for child survival in West Bengal. He won numerous awards in the category for the best actor.
