Feb 25, 2022 · All landholding farmers' families will receive a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 every year under the PM-KISAN scheme, payable in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 each every four months. According to the scheme's rules, a family consists of a husband, a wife and a minor child.
PM KISAN is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. It has become operational from 1.12.2018. Under the scheme an income support of Rs.6000/- per year in three equal instalments will be provided to small and marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of upto 2 hectares.
