DLHS is a survey to assess health services utilization and quality in India. It covers 612 districts, 7 lakh households, and 34 states and union territories.
The District Level Household Survey (DLHS) was initiated in 1997 with a view to assess the utilization of services provided by government health care facilities and people’s perceptions about the quality of services.
The District Level Household and Facility Survey (DLHS-4) is a nationwide survey which was conducted during 2012-13. The ever-married womens questionnaire contained information on womens characteristics, maternal care, immunization and childcare, contraception and fertility preferences, reproductive health including knowledge about HIV/AIDS. ...
