Bihari Lal Chaube or Bihārī (1595–1663) was a Hindi poet, who is famous for writing the Satasaī (Seven Hundred Verses) in Brajbhasha, a collection of approximately seven hundred distichs, which is perhaps the most celebrated Hindi work of poetic art, as distinguished from narrative and simpler styles.
बिहारीलाल का जन्म (1603) संवत् 1660 ग्वालियर में हुआ। वे जाति के माथुर चौबे (चतुर्वेदी) थे। उनके पिता का नाम केशवराय था। जब बिहारी 8 वर्ष के थे तब इनके पिता इन्हे ओरछा ले आये तथा उनका बचपन बुंदेलखंड में बीता। इनके गुरु नरहरिदास थे और युवावस्था ससुराल मथुरा में व्यतीत हुई, जैसे की निम्न दोहे से प्रकट है - Set up alarm investigative 15545.
