The film stars Akshay Kumar as a kind hearted gangster and Ronit Roy as a ruthless police officer who is against Boss. The film also stars actor Mithun Chakraborty, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shiv Pandit and Danny Denzonpa.
School Teacher Satyakant Shastri (Mithun Chakraborty) has two children, Surya (Akshay Kumar) and Shiv. After Surya brawls with another child multiple times and eventually kills him, Satyakant kicks him out of the family and disowns him. Years later, Shiv (Shiv Pandit) grows up as a dear son to his father, and also the only son as neither him or his dad have seen Surya for years. (CBFC U/A DIL/2/204/2013-MUM)
