SURGE program was launched and inaugurated on 8 May 2006 by Professor Sanjay G. Dhande, the then Director, IIT Kanpur.
Step-1: Register for SURGE 2024 (i) Register through the online portal LINK: LINK (ii) There are three categories: IITK: Only IITK Students can apply. NON-IITK: Only Indian students from various Indian Institution can apply. SAARC: Only students of SAARC countries (from Nepal, Bhutan) can apply. (iii) Complete the registration form in all respects.
