Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, named after the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, was established as a co-educational college in 1967 as a constituent college of University of Delhi. It acquired postgraduate status in record time of 7 years.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is one of the affiliated colleges of Delhi University. The college offers UG courses in the fields of Arts, Commerce and Science. At postgraduate level, the college offers only an M.Com course. Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test ( CUET) followed by e-counselling.
