If you’ve applied for your Italy visa via a visa application centre (VFS, BLS, or TLS), you can track your application on their website using your reference number and passport number. If you’ve applied for your visa directly to an embassy or consulate , online tracking may not be possible.

The visa issued by Italian Representations abroad allows access – for transit or for a short stay (up to 90 days) – both in Italy and in the other countries that apply the Schengen Convention, and is known as the “Uniform Schengen Visa” (USV).
Within eight (8) days from the date of entry into Italy, foreign nationals must comply with the obligations arising from the rules on the residence in the territory of the Member State, by applying for a residence permit or by declaring their presence according to their type of visa.
