Moon Knight is an American television miniseries created by Jeremy Slater for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. It is the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to be produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise.
Oscar Isaac stars as Steven Grant, a gift-shop employee who discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with a mercenary. The series follows their adventures as they face enemies and gods of Egypt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Moon Knight follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector.
Created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, the character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 (August 1975). [1] The son of a rabbi, Marc Spector served as a Force Recon Marine and briefly as a CIA operative before becoming a mercenary alongside his friend Jean-Paul "Frenchie" DuChamp.
Having been left for dead by Bushman, Spector dragged himself to a nearby temple, laying at the foot of a statue. Wishing the pain to end, Spector prepared to shoot himself. However, he was stopped by Khonshu, the Egyptian God of the Moon who resided in the temple. Spector transforms into Moon Knight.
