What is ToffeeShare? We are a free and independent peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing service from the Netherlands that prioritizes your privacy and keeps your data safe. We store nothing online: simply close your browser to stop sending. Our mission is to make sure people keep their data safely into their own hands, as it should be.
Simply navigate to the homepage on your mobile phone. Press the button to select one or more files (you can select more than one file by long pressing) You'll then be presented with a screen that allows you to instantly share to link to a recipient with the orange button. Instead click on the button that says "Send to PC".

Once you have the ToffeeShare app installed, navigate to Settings in the bottom tab bar and click on Connect to PC. Scan the QR code displayed on your computer, the files will now automatically be uploaded to your mobile phone! Once the uploading process is complete use the same share code (on your computer) to transfer the files to your recipient.

ToffeeShare is designed to be completely decentralized, so the data never leaves your device. The app can be used to share files between two devices or between a device and a web browser.
ToffeeShare currently uses an implementation of DTLS 1.3. Your data is encrypted end to end, and can only be read by your receiver (and you of course). Better for the environment. Because we don’t store your data we use almost no power! Plus our server run on renewable energy (wind energy). By using ToffeeShare you’ll have a much smaller carbon footprint than when using a cloud storage provider.
The solution is simple: put the files in a zip archive! This is partially what archives are made for. They contain all the files with the folder structure intact, but now a single file. Your computer is capable of generating zip archives out of the box. Just simply right click on the folder you wish to send, select "add folder to archive".
