Gajanan Maharaj was an Indian Hindu guru, saint and mystic. His origins remain uncertain. He first appeared at Shegaon, a village in Buldhana district, Maharashtra, as a young man aged 30, probably on 23 February 1878.

Mar 18, 2023 · The temple is open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm every day. The darshan timings are as follows: Morning: 5:00 am to 12:30 pm. Afternoon: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Evening: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Visitors are not required to pay an entrance fee to access the temple; however, the temple gladly accepts donations.
