eShram is a government portal for unorganized workers to register and access various schemes and benefits.
The e-Shram card can be obtained by workers aged 16-59 years through online application on the portal or CSC centers. Required documents include Aadhaar card, mobile number linked to Aadhaar, and bank account. Payment status and helpline details are available on the e-Shram portal.
Accordingly, Ministry of Labour & Employment has developed eShram portal for creating a National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), which will be seeded with Aadhaar.

All the e-SHRAM cards will have a unique Universal Account Number (UAN) and the workers can avail various benefits of the social security schemes via this card anytime, anywhere.
