Ramanathapuram (pronunciation ⓘ), also known as Ramnad, is a city and a municipality in Ramanathapuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of Ramanathapuram district and the second largest town (by population) in Ramanathapuram district.

Very nice and peaceful temple in a village, about 20 kms from Coral residency hotel, Ramnad. The road is good. Went there in the evening by auto. At the Natarajar sannidhi, the priest was expounding about the deity. The Natarajar sannidhi opens only once a year.
