The developers of Zoom have an app version on the Microsoft Store, open the Store app and search for Zoom and you will find that app, it an be installed on Windows in S Mode. .

This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.
Mar 25, 2020 · I’m trying to get my daughter set up for online school zoom calls. I don’t want to switch her computer out of S mode, but when I try to run zoom through Microsoft edge it won’t allow me to use computer audio. She doesn’t have a cell phone to call. Is there a way to enable computer audio through the web browser version of Zoom?

Tells me it's not microsoft verified , and refers me to microsoft store which doesn't have it. How or can I bypass this to install the program. I use zoom meetings. Hello Chris, My Name is Paul one of the Community Advisor and a Microsoft Consumer like you and there's a way for you to be able to use the ZOOM Web Based application and you need to download first the new Microsoft Edge Chromium form the Microsoft Store and here's the guide to setup your ZOOM to your browser.
Feb 16, 2024 · Microsoft Store doesn't have Zoom App. Also if I download app directly from Zoom, Windows in S mode won't open it.
Jul 16, 2021 · 1-Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. 2-Under "Choose where to get apps" installing apps only from Microsoft store helps protect your device select "Anywhere". 3-After that try to install the application. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Ideally, with Windows 10 in S mode the apps can only be downloaded and installed from Microsoft Store.
