May 8, 2021 · Step 1. Charge your battery if necessary. Dead batteries (and even weak ones) don't give accurate results on a draw test. The dome light is a good indicator of battery strength. If the light is weak, pulsating or refuses to turn on, you'll need to charge the battery. Step 2.
Feb 9, 2013 · The code is P2096. I have only heard of TJs with this code, not JKs. Here's what I was doing: I was driving at about 50mph for 30 miles with about 4" of snow on the road. I had the gas pedal pushed way down just to maintain my speed. Under normal conditions, my Jeep would have been doing 90+mph with accelerator pushed so far down.
Aug 30, 2017 · I have a 2012 4 door Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I recently dealt with the P0456 code. The problem turned out to be at the mouth of the gas tank. The round metal ridge that the rubber gasket of the gas cap makes contact with was bubbled a bit from rust. Once I dealt with that little bit of surface rust, the code went away after a few driving cycles.
Apr 28, 2024 · Removed the driver's strap, one electrical connector and tied the door forward. Set the ductwork in place and wrapped a band of electrical tape on each end. electrical tape will hold it in place well enough to set in place and come off easy. Brought the frame through the drivers side.
Sep 29, 2021 · 3.6 uses NAG1 trans and has a separate TCM above and behind the steering column. 2.8 CRD up to 2010 uses 5-45RFE trans and the TCM is under he hood- it actually uses only the trans part of the NGC controller because diesel engine has its own ECM from Bosch. 2.8 CRD from 2011 uses the same NAG1 as the 3.6 does, so it has has the same TCM above ...

It happens randomly, once every few weeks- the latest was a couple days ago. It starts again and after sitting about 5-10 minutes and seems to drive fine otherwise. No lights go off, it just dies and I loose power steering.
