  1. Oct 2, 2021 · Thanks a lot! I usually recommend Intuos S as a beginner tablet, that was before Wacom One came out as the more budget-friendly option. And I still do. The price difference isn’t much but having those small little features like express keys makes your workflow a bit easier.

  2. Apr 13, 2021 · With your video and USB cables connected to the computer, open your start menu, type "device manager" and press enter to open it. In the device manager window, expand the section for Human Interface Devices. Open each device in here by double clicking on it, then click on the Details tab.

  3. They aren’t worth it anymore. Unjustifiably expensive compared to Surface or iPad Pro w/ Pencil alternatives. It would be one thing if Wacom lowered their prices/increased their specs to stay competitive, but they’re more interested in maintaining their pseudo-monopoly on designers with Adobe than fair market values.

  4. Oct 16, 2020 · The Intuos M does have the extra benefit of wireless bluetooth connectivity and maybe being able to program the express keys to perform certain functions in whatever program you are using. In terms of durability, not sure one will last longer than the other if looked after. Always helpful to check out some reviews though.

  5. Jan 24, 2024 · But I do agree, Wacom tablets are built to last. The fact that my Intuos 4 lasted so long was incredible (still works with windows). I mean, in that timeframe I purchased an Intuos 5 touch, Cintiq 13 and a Cintiq 24 pro Touch so you’ll end up buying a new one before the older one stops being supported.

  6. Apr 11, 2021 · The PW517 pen based Huion tablets actually perform the same as the Cintiq (s) I had. Cost. Mostly summed up as "they're cheaper than Wacom" due to Wacom (overall) being an industry-standard manufacturer and thus charges an industry-standard price. But you get what you pay for.

  7. Nov 18, 2021 · Current generation Intuos Pro tablets (PTH-x60) are the only Wacom models that use a single USB C port on the tablet for all functions. Current Cintiq Pro tablets (DTH-xx20) also have a USB C port that can be used as the only cable going to the computer, but you specifically need a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 connection, will have limited speeds on the ...

Hi, I'm currently looking to make proffesional art work in both 2D and 3D enviroments, I was recommended buying Wacom Intuos for someone who is just starting. I'm not really looking for display ...

  9. Oct 23, 2021 · Which pens are compatible with the Intuos Pro PTH-451 tablet? I lost my pen and none of the ones I'm finding online specifically state that they're compatible with the PTH-451 tablet. Does this mean I can just buy any pen that is made for the Intuos Pro range? Thanks in advance. KP-501E should work on most pro tablets during Intuos 4 era.

  10. Oct 13, 2021 · Hey Tigyo. Thanks for the reply. I haven't tried the ART pen before actually. I'll definitely look out for one to get my hands on. So far I've only used the grip pens with the Intuos 3,4, and 2013 Pro, and the airbrush pen with the Intuos 1. I have another pen with in the intuos 1 that has a metal nib which I'm still trying to find more info on.
