Jul 13, 2014 · Namely, when I try to open a torrent file or try to download through magnet link the uTorrent program starts (the file is associated) but no window is displayed in which I can choose the location or the label of the torrent file, and moreover I get the message "The torrent file you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents, Do you want to load the trackers from it".
Jan 14, 2010 · In branches 1.8 and 2.0, Win X86 but not Mac:The program fails to delete "not in use" .torrent files in its own local "cache" that has this general path:C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent If you delete all the .torrent files in this directory, you have to load them in again.
Mar 19, 2023 · Posted June 3, 2023. Hallelujah! I posted this problem in Bug Reports and didn't get a response. Was surprised to see responses here. I get these messages EVERY HOUR - 24 times a day! Also I have downloads that are NOT in the index that get "stuck" and cannot be deleted by Explorer after I've watched them.
Feb 17, 2008 · After a bad shut down, and after restating Utorrent, pending downloads are "Checked". That is, under the status bar, before downloading resumes, Utorrent does some kind of 'checking'. It is slow, tedious and a 4Gig file can take 15 minutes AND, it only does one file at a time!. Once completed, Utorrent will re-start any dloads.

Also in Norton Security go to you settings and configure you Download intelligence detection and or Auto-protect, SONAR and add Utorrent.exe You will have to find you on your computer the right file location for UTorrent and add UTorrent.exe ( Example D:\myuTorrent\AppData\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe)

If your file is not complete, this might mean that none of the Peers needs any of the pieces you have. 12 (4) means the tracker knows about 4 peers in your swarm, but DHT is helping you connect to seeds outside your swarm.
