For developing with UE4, we recommend a desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later, 8 GB RAM and a quad-core Intel or AMD processor, and a DX11 compatible video card.
Jun 8, 2019 · I have a 1-vs-1 up to 2-vs-2 multiplayer game. Right now I’ve got it running on a Digital Ocean Ubuntu instance (a single dedicated server). But what if I need 10 servers running, or 100? I can’t seem to find good info on what UE4 dedicated servers demand in terms of system hardware. Also will this be expensive? Would it be cheaper to create my own replication and pass bits and bytes around instead of using UE4 dedicated server? Any example games out there running UE4 dedicated servers?
Oct 11, 2014 · The system requirements of the engine are explained in the FAQs, but the requirements of the games are not specified. How can I specify them? Do particles, shading, physics or other things influence requisites? For example, Goat Simulator (UE game) works on AMD radeon 1220 (UE requires 8xxx).

I just got a new computer…I9 processor, 32 gigs of ram, Nvidia Gforce RTX 3070 with 8 gigs and Unreal crashed my gpu right off the bat. I had imported a house I had created in Maya, and textured in Painter, using 4K textures. Nothing else in the scene yet and less than half through setting up and applying textures and it crashed my gpu.
