Titanic appealed more to women, and benefited handsomely for it. Leo was the heart-throb of the late 90s as a result… and toxic men don’t like that shit. So… time to trash the movie. Time to act like it’s not really all that popular. Time to harp on every “girly” thing about the movie.
womp-womp-rats. •. I love the last views of the iceberg, passing into the night and out of the story. Unremarkable and indistinguishable. While the ship lies in pieces on the sea floor, the berg is just gone. Except it isn’t. It’s falling as rain, it’s in that bottle of water. It’s everywhere.
Oct 23, 2023 · 1997 is the clearest one 2012 has a moody blue tint to it 35 mm has corrected lighting and a bit warmer glow to it. Honestly I say a tie between the 1997 version and 35 mm version. Idk though, I haven't seen the 35 mm version so i'd have to sit through a viewing of that.
Romeo and Juliet and Titanic alike, glorify an unhealthy, unrealistic version of romance. One that's built entirely upon hedonism, emotional rush, quick satisfaction, and bliss. Physical and sexual contact with someone you're into releases hormones into the brain, just like a drug.
Jan 7, 2024 · It’s hard to acutely feel it even with the movie so good. There is a titanic museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee that is astonishing. They have a room where it starts to flood and there are walls everywhere and that is when you fully feel what they went through and it is beyond scary feeing. Reply reply. Then_Campaign7264.
Jun 12, 2022 · I felt that the love story trivialized the real events (this opinion was reinforced when I worked in one of the traveling Titanic exhibits and encountered a certain amount of people who wanted to know why Jack or Rose weren't mentioned). I don't hate the movie now, but I still won't watch it. 3.
Mar 1, 2023 · Casting them as Jack and Rose was cinematic lightning in a bottle. You get so into their love story, you almost forget they're on the Titanic, and it's devastating when the ship hits the iceberg. 16. mfergie77. • 1 yr. ago.
