Jul 1, 2017 · Main reason for having a throttle body on a Diesel is EGR and it also has a role to play during engine shutdown. When engine is turned off the valve closes and cuts air into the cylinders this helps to achieve a relatively smoother shut down. Throttle body works as an Anti-Shudder Valve (ASV).
Sep 21, 2022 · The switch is screwed on to the throttle body and the only interaction is through a small button like projection in to the throttle chamber. When throttle is opened a little from idle position, the upward movement of the valve activates the switch. Unfortunately, no other pictures are available.
In general the throttle valve is a butterfly valve. You might want to look up the flow characteristics of a butterfly valve. A relative small rotation gives you a relatively large opening surface. I haven’t really looked into these enhancers, but I think all it does is rotate the throttle valve a little more than the standard setting.
6) Wipe off the smears. 7) Open the throttle plate and liberally spray contents of the carb cleaner inside, take a toothbrush (why didn't i think of this before) and scrub scrub scrub. 8) Again take a rag and wipe off the smears. 9) Start the engine, it takes a little while to catch but finally it starts.
Jul 17, 2023 · New ISC Valve gasket. Part Number: 14139M70G30. New EGR Gasket. Part Number: 18529M77E01. New Fuel injector O-Rings and Rubber kit. Part number: 09320M09022 and 99000M24120-857. Started disconnecting the sensors, unplugging the harness clips, removed the throttle body, injectors and loosening the bolts of the manifold.
Jan 3, 2008 · 1) Remove the Battery connectors. 2) Carefully dissamble the throttle body Bolts and Air filter Hose. 3) Spray good amounts inside and also depress the Valve and Spray throughly. 4) Let it dry for 10 min. 5) Check again for any spot you missed. 6) Carefully assemble the throttle back , reconnect the Battery.

Mar 18, 2008 · The throttle body part number is - 279115210103 includes Idle Air Control (IAC - stepper motor), Throttle Position sensor (TPS) and the throttle body. It carries a warranty of 1 year and it costs Rs 5300.00 plus taxes. The stepper motor if sourced separately elsewhere does not carry warranty.
Jul 23, 2010 · I checked carefully and the sound is from the throttle body itself. 1) Whining does not stop even after 5 minute when engine is OFF, Ignition is ON. 2) When you turn off ignition, the throttle body makes a clak, clak sound (like self adjusting) and then go dead silent. 3) The whining sound remains but is not audible when the engine is running.
