May 1, 2024 · The file will download to your default download-folder. On MacOS this folder is called Downloads by default. Double-click SpotifyInstaller.zip in order to unpack the actual Spotify installation: Now double-click 'Install Spotify' and the following progress bar should appear: Spotify will launch automatically when the installation is ready.
May 21, 2022 · Here's something you can try out: Open Finder on your mac and click Go > Library (if you don't have hidden folders enabled, press the option key first and it should appear). Go to Cache, look for a folder that contains Spotify in its name and delete it. Reinstall the app.

Jan 5, 2024 · I have a premium account on Spotify and listen to lots of audiobooks. At the moment I am listening to "How to do the Work" by Nicole Le Pera. On my phone I can "View" the extra content, which is a workbook, yet on my Mac at home I cannot. On my phone I am only able to view and not share, or download. On my Mac I have nothing.

May 16, 2012 · Solved! Go to Solution. You can change the location here in settings. Open the Spotify App on your Mac. On the left pane you have Browse and Radio, then (title) YOUR MUSIC and at the bottom you see "Local Files". Click on this, you will see this list will all songs. Click on a title. On the far Right you will see 3 dots.

As of 23 January 2016 on Spotify Version 0.9.17.6.ge7d46329 (on OSX 10.6.8) when opening the Spotify app an information message "In a few months, Spotify updates will no longer be available for your platform" appears. At this stage, the app still seems to function "normally". Screenshots below:

We understand where you're coming from, but keep in mind that there isn’t an official way to install an older version of the Spotify app. All users should only download the app from our official website. This way, we can advise adequate alternatives for the inconveniences.
