pdfsandwich generates "sandwich" OCR pdf files, i.e. pdf files which contain only images (no text) will be processed by optical character recognition (OCR) and the text will be added to each page invisibly "behind" the images. pdfsandwich is a command line utility.
Apr 16, 2015 · If you have an issue with waste perhaps you need to apply the Toyota's "Lean" approach to production. ie only make one kind of each sandwich and when that is sold make another to replace it. Perhaps in reality you may need a bigger buffer than one kind of each sandwich, but the idea is to remove waste by only producing goods when they are demanded.
So to use the CLI of Markdown-PDF just: Install Node.js (if necessary) Install Markdown-PDF - from cmdline just run npm install -g markdown-pdf. run markdown-pdf -o readme.pdf readme.md (or whatever source and destination and other options you want; see CLI Options for all the details of what you can specify).
Mar 15, 2017 · One thing: PDF editors are rare even on PC, and often are paid apps. As Andy wrote: what is your price margin – in case such an app exists but is paid? Not a big chance, though: I've not encountered any PDF editor for Android yet. But be welcome to browse my list of PDF apps, maybe I missed that feature on one of them.
I think you could use Okular because it supports pdf annotations. When you are presenting your document in Presentation mode (View > Presentation, or Ctrl + Shift + P), you can hover on the top of the slide to bring a toolbar to choose the color of the pen and several other options.
Additional pros of such software would be also ability of creating some buttons, allowing you to script around your layers. Any suggestions or unusual ideas really appreciated. Have a look at : It doesn't have layers enabled by default. Go to File - Preferences - PDF Export:

May 9, 2016 · 5. I am looking for PDF anonymizer software that will automatically remove potentially identifying metadata. It must be free as in beer, and it must run on OS X. It does not need to be perfect; this is for convenience, not for legal applications. Command line tools are okay for as long as they don't need arcane syntaxes to achieve this goal.
One PDF reader, SumatraPDF, has actually this functionality, although it's very quirky: it's easy to flip page instead of scrolling horizontally, and when flipping page, it goes to the right end of the following page, instead of the beginning.
