Jul 15, 2020 · Thanks - little tip for others not starting as Byzantine: If as a Catholic with Holy Fury you create the Latin Empire (which I did following Venice making the first two crusades sacks on Greece and Thrace respectively), you cannot restore the Roman Empire. The 800 prestige doesn't seem worth it now.

If should be doable to create a mod to proclaim to be Rome if you have enough province (plus some keys provinces) and have some gov mechanics about your legitimacy has Roman Empire...
