Mar 30, 2020 · New motherboards come with DCH drivers that you have to download the GUI app from the Microsoft Store. DCH drivers must be installed by the installer in order to have the optional software components installed. No Realtek Software Components means you cannot download the Realtek Audio Console from the Microsoft Store. PS.
Aug 31, 2024 · The "Audio inputs and outputs" section has disappeared from my device manager, and I restarted my laptop multiple times. I saw the Realtek Audio driver in the programs section of my control panel, but my device manager doesn't seem to detect it. I would really love your insight on how to fix this. If you go to ASUS driver download center, search for your board and go to Driver and Utility; you will find Audio under drivers and tools. Click show all, ignore the sonic studio restore and the next download will note in the included software " Realtek Audio driver v6.0.8751.1" and that should do the trick.

Enter Safe Mode, use driver uninstallation software to uninstall the Realtek sound card driver, restart (do not manually install the RTK driver), and then download the Realtek Console from the Windows App Store.
