Puri Jagannath Temple is open every day from 5:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Darshan has an afternoon break from 01:00 p.m. until 04:00 p.m. The temple’s prasadam hours are 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Time required: 1 to 2 hours. Monday 5:00 am – 1:00 pm; 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Generally, Temple opens and darshan starts at around 5.30 A.M. After offering of the perpetual lamp (Mangal Arati), devotees are allowed entry up to Jagamohan (Bhitar Kaatha) of the temple and darshan from this point is available till completion of “Besha” (approximately upto 7.30 / 8 A.M.).
