As a child, Ramdas watches helplessly as his revolutionary father is shot dead by one of his accomplices. This stirs up extreme hatred for all Indian revolutionaries fighting for freedom against the Portuguese government by turning in members of the revolutionary group.
About Pukar Movie (1983) Ramdas (Amitabh Bachchan) watches Purandare (Shreeram Lagoo), a freedom fighter, shoot his father dead, and he starts hating revolutionaries. A grown-up Ramdas takes up crime as his career. He helps the Portuguese authorities apprehend a Goan freedom fighter, Shekhar (Randhir Kapoor).
