But launching the game, the game kept crashing and is completely unusable. I tried restarting the computer - DID NOT ALLOW ORIGIN TO UDPATE - and it still managed to push through the effing update forcing the install of the new EA app. I guess I'll check if EA games are usable again in a few months or so. 27. + XP.
Feb 27, 2023 · If you play online games: ANY disconnection while EA app is open (not just while the game is open) requires that you quit the app AND shut down the EA background service to use network play. Many times I have booted up BF4 only to need to shut it down and restart a bunch of * apps, simply because I rely on my phone as wired hotspot and I carry my phone with me when I leave the desk.
Nevertheless, my XBOX account WITH XBOX Game Pass PC subscription IS linked to my EA account, as seen on profile.ea.com, yet my EA Play subscription is unseen by the EA App, which as far as I am disheartenedly (I may have made that up) aware is the only way to play my XBOX Game Pass games that are exclusively from the EA store.

You should also set your filter to show "Included with EA Play" under the EA play tab. Also just so you know, there is a 'link social accounts' under profile settings "cog" top right in the xbox app. You could try linking the EA account there. View in thread. #2. November 2020. Options.

The games must be authorised online at the first time you start them, after that you can set Origin to offline mode. If a Game is not starting when launched in Origin's offline mode then try the following: Exit out of origin.
Sep 1, 2024 · The EA app will not allow me to play games I have on steam because "Your Epic subscription has ended. Renew your subscription to continue playing."
