  5. I was born in 91, and I would say 2004 is when Nickelodeon went downhill, but it all depends on when you grew up. Early 2000s Nick still had good cartoons like Spongebob (first 3 seasons), Invader Zim, Fairly Oddparents, As Told By Ginger, and nicktoons left over from the 90s like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, CatDog, and Rocket Power.

  7. Cartoon Network was better than Nickelodeon. Most folks seem to say that the animated offerings with Nickelodeon in the 2000s was better than Cartoon Network, citing classics like Spongebob, Rugrats, The Fairy Odd Parents, etc.. which tended to have much more cultural staying power (at least in the U.S.) than Cartoon Network’s offerings.

They will continue to make shows for other streamers and for paramount+. Budget problems are likely due to current likely temporary economic times.
