THE MUMBAI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1888. CHAPTER Preliminary. 1. Short title and extent.-- this Act may be cited as the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888. It extends only to Brihan Mumbai. 3. Short title and extent. This Act may be cited as the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act. It extends only to Brihan Mumbai. Repeal of enactments. The enactments mentioned in Schedule A are repealed to the extent specified in the third column of the said Schedule;
