Jan 13, 2022 · Unforgotten star Mark Bonnar is married to his wife, Lucy Gaskell, who is 12 years younger than him. Like him, his wife is also an actress. The pair first met in 2003 during a production of Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard.
Gaskell has been married to actor Mark Bonnar since 28 December 2007. They have two children: Martha, born July 2011, and Samuel, born June 2015. [1] As of 2024, Gaskell has been an ambassador for the domestic violence survivors' charity, Women's Aid, for nine years, having taken on that role in 2015. [2]
Bonnar was born in Edinburgh to environmental artist Stan [4] and his wife Rosi. Stan's job as town artist for the Scottish New Towns meant the family moved around and Mark spent his childhood in Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire , attending Townhead Primary School in Stonehouse. [ 5 ]
