Sep 5, 2021 · In the Language of Flowers is really the best Marauders fic for people who don’t like Marauders fics. The Marauders (at least James and Sirius) remind me of the dude bro jerks I intensely disliked in high school (I know this is blasphemy to many, but we all have our likes and dislikes!), so I can appreciate Petunia’s perspective.
The marauders were younger than Harry was when he cast the curse on Malfoy in book 6. Hermione slaps Malfoy in book 3 and Ron is constantly tagging along and making fun of him. Seriously, why the hell do people like those three?

Discussion I really like fics where the Marauder’s interactions are written humorously to make you laugh, but there is also genuine closeness and care shown between James and Sirius, or Sirius and Remus etc.
Oct 4, 2021 · The Marauders are four boys who are unlikely friends (based on their varying backgrounds, upbringings, and challenges) while Fred and George twin brothers who grew up together and did everything together. The Marauders have far more interesting and diverse backgrounds than the Weasley twins, and their dynamics are more interesting because of that.
