But as it stands now, there was a lot to dislike about the movie: The characters, to start out with, were poorly-sketched out. Harry's background in India could have been an interesting plot, but we learn almost nothing about it.
For me the scene in the trailer when SRK fingers some random European woman’s belly button was just plain weird and creepy. Plus Anushka’s gujrati accent was terrible. Sejal felt like a wannabe Geet. The entire premise was derivative of Jab We Met and a mashup of the Before Sunrise trilogy.
Jun 8, 2022 · For me, it was all about Anushka's (Sejal)'s sexual awakening and her need to actually feel desired as a woman, her constantly wanting to be almost lusted after whether it was from Harry or from some Rando and for Harry it was really about finding home. I Loved the music, it is one of the best Pritam albums.

Like I feel, to make the execution work, you’d have to make it feel like Harry & Sejal have such a spark that they can get lost in their own world - just bantering, chatting, etc. What that would do would be that we experience that spark and chemistry with them and it becomes less about the adventure and more about the moment - thus, removing the need for a fully fleshed out character arc.

I know it's pretty vague, but this is the basic formula he has used since Jab We Met.(can't comment on Socha Na Tha because I haven't watched that recently)

He was doing decent movies until Bhai started raking in money with his stupid movies. SRK started making those stupid movies too. He just seems to be insecure to me. At this point
Jul 15, 2019 · I started watching Jab Harry Met Sejal on Netflx and have finished the first half. I must say, I like what I've seen so far. Being a working professional alone in a large city, the sense of longing for home - both in a place and in a person, really resonated with me.
