Mar 6, 2014 · Press "Windows key + W" from the keyboard. Type Mouse in the search box. Select "Mouse" option from the left panel. Select "Pointer Options tab. Place a check mark next to "Display pointer trail". Then remove check mark next to "Hide Mouse pointer when typing" option.

Mar 31, 2015 · Hi, I've recently opened word and all text is invisible, in new documents and all old documents. So far i've checked: All text is black. In Options>Display, there is no hidden text. Haven't found any similar problems anywhere else online. The only way I can visibly see the text is if I open Design>Page color and mouse over different colors.
If you need help troubleshooting this you can find the cursor in WIndows 11 by pressing the Ctrl key which will place a circle around it. Feel free to ask back any questions. If you turn on display of non-printing formatting characters it could also include text formatted as "Hidden," which is a type of font formatting.
