Placements at IIT Dharwad are being facilitated by CDC through a system of "One Regular Job - One Dream Job". In this system, a Dream Job is defined as a job offer with a CTC (Cost to Company) that is 1.5 times that of a Regular Job. Students are allowed to participate in only one Dream Job process based on their preference.

Journey through IIT Dharwad CS Exploration & Initial Disinterest: Started as a CS student in August 2018, first year focused on understanding CS fundamentals, industry norms, and domains. Explored areas like ML, and app/web development but lacked a strong connection.
Presently situated in Permanent Campus of IIT Dharwad sprawling over 470 acres. Our library, boasting 5000 books and access to 8500 research journals, complements the academic vigor of our 1000 students, hailing from 21 states with a commendable 20% representation of women.
