On the 150th Birth Anniversary of ‘Gurudev’ Rabindranath Tagore, the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) was awarded the Tagore Centre for the Study of Culture and Civilization by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya) of Government of India.

Fellows. Fellows are selected on the basis of the research project submitted by them. The Fellowship is awarded by the Governing Body on the recommendation of the Fellowship Award Committee (FAC) which comprises experts from various disciplines.
