Jul 7, 2023 · The following command will tail the generating logs on heroku. heroku logs -t -a <app_name>. The following comand will show the 1000 number of lines of logs from heroku. heroku logs -n 1000 -a <app_name>. Note only 1500 latest lines of logs are available and rest of them gets deleted from heroku dyno.

Sep 19, 2017 · I agree that Heroku should have by now provided a way to do this with their higher level CLI tool. You can avoid extreme solutions (and you should, just like Chris mentioned in his answer) by simply using curl and the Heroku API. Heroku allow you to use your API Token (obtainable through your user settings / profile page on the Heroku dashboard).

But when I type Heroku commands such as heroku version, they are not recognized. So I set the path variable to point to the Heroku installation.

You will have to set an environment variable HEROKU_ORGANIZATION to your team name, for example, if your team name was backend-team it would be like. export HEROKU_ORGANIZATION=backend-team. This will set backend-team as your default team. Now you can run heroku apps to access all the apps of that team.
