Jul 27, 2022 · Also, the logic as explained by Deven that, HDFC AMC has been loosing market share to SBI due to more population from Tier2/3/4 cities started investing in Mutual funds looks partially correct. Another factor for loss of HDFC market share is that, some of their funds were under performing due to value investing principles adopted by them and now with new management, things may change slowly.
Dec 6, 2022 · What confuses me is that over the listed history of HDFC AMC - since around Aug 2018 to 2023 so far, market has moved up more than 50%, BSE midcap up by around 45%…but HDFC AMC is flat…so the fact that AUM might have increased significantly by virtue of market movements have resulted in negligible effect on HDFC AMC share price.

Oct 11, 2023 · Disc. Invested in HDFC AMC and likely to be biased. My XIRR on HDFC AMC is ~11% over a 3.5 year period. I will review my position next year and consider whether remaining with a position in any AMC stock is worthwhile (steady, transparent business with some cyclicality and long runway - but are there better opportunities elsewhere?)
