Oct 10, 2023 · During recent long weekend(on account of Karnataka Bandh + Prophet's Birthday + Gandhi Jayanti), decided to stay at home, and not to go on a trip to the usual touristy places, as I didn't want to contribute my part to the traffic snarls even over there, and inadvertently jackup the already exorbitant accommodation prices.

Dec 21, 2019 · As it happened, Gandhi Jayanti fell on 2nd October and Dussera on 8th and it was a perfect combination for vacation. Things fell into place and our trip was confirmed from 28th September to 8th October. Ten days of a dream road trip! I was so excited that I found it hard to concentrate on my work at times - I was dreaming of Spiti day and night.
Oct 15, 2014 · As we left Bangalore on 2-Oct-14 morning, Gandhi Jayanti, I was mentally prepared for and did encounter ample traffic on Mysore road, likely thanks to countless others like us heading out for the long Dasara weekend. Our first night halt destination was going to be Sanjeevani Resorts, located some 1 km off the NH-212 at Sultan Bathery.
It took me 12 hours for this 500 kms without any leisure break. Last edited by abhi_tjet : 3rd October 2023 at 19:48. I am planning to drive down from south goa (canacona) to pune on 1st October. Google maps suggested route is canacona -> chorla ghat -> khanapur -> belgavi -> kolhapur -> pune.

The road to Nai Basti-Gulabgarh from Jammu follows the train route as it existed prior to 1947 and a number of old buildings can be seen on the way.
