Mar 11, 2018 · Side note on the terminology - a content delivery network (CDN) provides assets (e.g. scripts, stylesheets, images...) and does not replace or modify your code. A script you are embedding from the cdn might change your site/code, however. So a more accurate title would have been "fontawesome cdn script renders svg" –

Mar 29, 2018 · The best way Is to use svg instead of font awesome because if u look at it font awesome takes time to load which is a bad thing in 2022 as it just load fonts, you could perhaps just use svg which is quite faster and takes no time to load, you could use this website to get svg of any fonts and I'd recommend it as it is best free and gives you customized icons as well https://iconify.design/
Jul 8, 2017 · I used the Bootstrap Font awesome CDN which works perfectly fine but in a proxy server, for some reason, the file throws 404 but the DataTables CDN loads properly. From the DataTables documentation I found that DataTables has its own font-awesome meaning embedded one which is as follows: Here is the fiddle [JSFiddle][1]
Jan 25, 2018 · I decided it was time for me to switch to Font-awesome 5 when I ran into a problem. My icons are not shown. It shows me this. I don't get where the problem occurs. I followed every step on their site and linked the files correctly but they still dont show. Here is a screenshot of the file. What is causing this? Why doesn't it work?
Mar 27, 2018 · Instead of directly linking to the Font Awesome CSS, I am using the js from Font Awesome CDN to allow async loading of the icons on the homepage but Google's Pagespeed Insights still marks it as a render-blocking js.
