The stranger thing is that the redirected site has less detections than the original site on VirusTotal. fmovies.to has 4 malware warnings (1 suspicious) and fmoviesz.to only has the suspicious warning. 2. "Barely any ads" The second I clicked anything it was trying to redirect me and once I clicked play on a movie, it blocked 25 pop ups.
