Sep 6, 2024 · I know there is DiscU.exe and VGMToolbox to decrypt Wii U Disc images (.wud) if you have the disc key and the common key, but I usually sit in front of my Macbook and both applications only work on Windows (VGMToolbox didn't compile or run with Mono and DiscU.exe isn't a C# application anyway, so both of them didn't work).
Sep 13, 2024 · You can also perhaps provide an alternative method (which would be a lot shorter to explain then the old xorpad method) by using rxTools to decrypt the rom instead, then extract everything with CTRTool/3DSExplorer. The resulting files will already be decrypted and if ran on 7.x or newer sysnand, the key slot bin file won't be needed.

Sep 13, 2024 · if you want to decrypt a 2gb CIA, you will have to install it. it is very slow. but, you can use the contents from the CIA without installing it. but you will need to decrypt them. when you install a CIA, the contents become decrypted (partially)

There are some differences, like the ncchinfo.bin using utf-16 filenames (should be easy to adapt).
